April 12, 2009 Happy Easter

2009-04-121

One month I only used 11 pictures, so this time I used 13. I just couldn’t narrow it down any further from the 96 pictures I had from the day!

1. Addison and Lauren sitting on the couch with their Easter dresses on. I wish I had a picture of them standing and with the sweaters off as well so you could see the dresses better but they were quite wound up all day from spending so much time together that I was lucky to even get this shot. They had a blast playing and being silly this weekend.

2. Lauren sitting with her great-grandparents, my mom’s mom and dad.

3. Lauren and Addison colored Easter eggs Saturday evening. It was fun and I hope will become an annual event.

4. Lauren participating in the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Auntie Shirley’s house, a tradition that has been going on for generations!

5. My little family…so hard to get everyone smiling and looking in the right direction at the same time but Johnny is smiling (for a change) so I figured I had to include this one. We really need to go get professional pictures taken!

6. The Easter Bunny left these baskets for Lauren, Carter, and Addison.

7. Carter is sitting up SO well these days. Here he is enjoying his new sand toys.

8. Lauren rocking in her Easter dress.

9. Lauren and Addison discovering their baskets. Lauren of course, went right for the teething ducks in Carter’s basket! She is a bit obsessed with these.

10. With the busy weekend winding down, Lauren enjoys some mac and cheese and peas and carrots for dinner Sunday night in her froggy pj’s and sunglasses.

11. Carter enjoying some sweet potatoes. He is finally getting the hang of the solid food spoon feeding thing.

12. I just can’t believe how great Carter is sitting up now. It seemed to happen over night and has really opened up a whole new world of playing for him.

13. I love him in his Easter outfit….John hated the sweater vest but I thought he looked cute and very Easter-y, and warm since it was freezing this year!
